Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven salesperson to join our team as a Fire Sprinkler Inspection Contract Salesperson. While experience in the fire sprinkler industry is not required, we are looking for a candidate with exceptional sales skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role involves developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales of fire sprinkler inspection and service contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for fire sprinkler inspection contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with building owners, property managers, and facility managers.
  • Generate leads through cold calls, networking, and timely follow-ups.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Assess prospective and existing clients’ fire protection needs.
  • Present service proposals, explain offerings, and successfully close contracts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Proposal & Contract Management:

  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts that align with NFPA standards and company pricing guidelines.
  • Negotiate contract terms and ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Follow up on proposals to secure contracts.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with our inspection and service teams to ensure efficient contract fulfillment.
  • Coordinate schedules and resolve client concerns alongside internal teams.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular activity reports to management.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company goals.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  1. 2+ years in fire protection sales, fire sprinkler inspections, or a related industry.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of NFPA codes, fire sprinkler systems, and inspection requirements.

Skills:

  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • High school diploma is required.

Other Requirements:

Certifications:

  • NICET certification in fire protection is a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
